Shade Sails is a Green Company

Shade Sails are made of HDPE* which is completely recyclable. Our manufacturing
facility in New Zealand recycles all fabric scraps and damaged – returned shade sails.

Shade Sails used to shade windows or the space adjacent to a building reduces the
heat inside the building without using energy.

Shade Sails provide shade the instant they are installed and do not require years of
water and fertilizer that a tree will use before it is effective shade.

Shade Sails over a pool or pond reduces algae growth, which necessitates less use of chemicals and filters to control algae.
